Jack Chartier

Former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi's top intergovernmental adviser and chief of staff Jack Chartier had influence over billions in state pension funds. He fell for aging, former "Mod Squad" actress Peggy Lipton and needed money to impress.

In December 2009, Chartier, then 64, started confessing to Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's investigators about how he abused his office in order to better impress Lipton. It has since come to light that he New York State Pension Fund Scandal involved the participation of Alan Hevesi, Hank Morris, David Loglisci, Elliott Broidy, Jack Chartier, Peggy Lipton, and a really bad movie titled "Chooch".
