Yahoo To Pay Fired CEO Carol Bartz $10.4 Million Severence

Bloomberg reports that Yahoo will pay fired CEO Carol Bartz a $10.4 million severance package.

[Bloomberg] The outgoing CEO had just a 33% approval rating in Q3 2011, according to Glassdoor.com. Overall, Bartz had a 54% approval rating during her 30-month tenure, but the number of employees approving of her performance dropped off sharply.

So, she was an abject failure as a manager, but somehow worth $10.4 million?
