US Poverty Rate Reaches One In Six
With 14 million people out of work, the unemployment rate has hit record levels.
[WAPO] As poverty surged last year to its highest level since 1993, median household income declined, leaving the typical American household earning less in inflation-adjusted dollars than it did in 1997.
The Census Bureau report showed that 46 million Americans lived on less than $22,314 for a family of four.
The greatest country on earth cares nothing for their own poor.
