Senator Kruger’s Bribery Racket and Shadow Family

This is one of the more bizarre stories to make it into the MSM in the past year involving an active Senator, a symbiotic relationship with two gynecologists, and charges of operating a wide-ranging bribery racket out of a million dollar ocean-side home in Mill Basin, Brooklyn.

[NTY] State Senator Carl Kruger of Brooklyn was charged in a criminal complaint with accepting bribes totaling at least $1 million. The complaint described a lavish lifestyle the senator was bankrolling. Over the course of decades, Mr. Kruger’s life and finances had become deeply enmeshed with those of Dorothy Turano and her sons, Dr. Gerard I. Turano, now 47, and Dr. Michael S. Turano, 49. Dr. Michael Turano was also among the eight people charged in the complaint.
