Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Ties With Blagojevich May Lead To Ethics Charges

The House Ethics Committee is looking into sordid details surrounding Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr's. alleged attempt to secure a Senate seat that Blagojevich had put up for the highest bidder in 2008.

[Associated Press] The House Ethics Committee announced Friday it will continue its investigation into allegations Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. or someone acting on his behalf offered to raise campaign cash for then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich in exchange for a Senate appointment in 2008.

Apparently the evidence against Mr. Jackson is damning.
