R. Allen Stanford booted from Forbes annual billionaires list
“Well, uh, yes. Yes. Yes. I’d have to say it’s fun being a billionaire.”
Earlier this week, R. Allen Stanford met charges that he used his global financial empire to defraud investors of billions of dollars by asserting his constitutional Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
Then came the news last night, that Forbes magazine had booted Stanford — most often referred to in news accounts as “Texas billionaire” — from its annual billionaires list.
