Newark Residents Footing Bill For Whitney’s Funeral

Newark residents weren't allowed anywhere near the funeral for Whitney Houston. Yet they are being hit with a $187,000 bill for police overtime, roughly 5% of the city's 2012 budget.

In the name of "public safety", not one member of the "public" was allowed near Whitney Houston's funeral. Her fans were completely snubbed by the Houston clan and are now on the hook for paying for protection for the Houston family, Hollywood elite, and special guests.

One resident stated the obvious, “If they wanted it to go that far, do that much, they should have been the ones providing for it."

But the Houston family will not be paying the bill for the elaborate send off. They're plutocrats.
