John Goodman Polo Club Founder Ordered to Pay $46 million DUI Settlement
John Goodman, the dirtbag founder of the International Polo Club Palm Beach and heir to an air conditioning fortune, was convicted of manslaughter for a drunken hit-and-run car wreck that ended the life of a 23-year old man has now been ordered to pay the parents of his victim $46 million.
The settlement was levied after Goodman attempted to shield his $300 million trust by adopting his 42 year-old girlfriend Heather Hutchins.
$42 million will hardly even make a dent in his fortune.
Despite the settlement and conviction, Goodman's lawyers have successfully delayed his incarceration by seeking a new trial arguing that the jury was prejudiced.
This man is a piece of shit.
