Original Hot Cars You Can’t Have (without $$$)

If you have the cash, up to a mere $250k, burning a hole in your pocket you too can own a car that will likely never sit on the sales lot at your local auto dealership.

It should come as no surprise that companies such as Ferrari actually base their decision to sell you one of their $200,000 sports on who you are and how you will treat one of their V12 babies. Few people will ever reach "favored customer status" with Enzo. This isn't a huge loss for all the have-nots in the world. We can get by with our mundane Ford Mustangs, except we can't get one of the new models either.

Waiting lists have been around forever, but the idea that companies release their best new models to "select" individuals is moderately disgusting.

Cars for investors:

  1. 2011 BMW 5 Series
  2. 2011 Nissan Leaf
  3. 2012 Tesla Model S sedan
  4. 2012 Fisker Karma Sunset Convertible
  5. Ferrari 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano and California
  6. 2011 McLaren MP4-12C
  7. 2010 GMC Terrain
  8. 2011 Ford Mustang
