Gingrich Takes Aim At Lazy Poor People

Presidential contender and world-class shill Newt Gingrich has now added another villain to his expansive list of threats to his vision of "Democracy": lazy children of poor families.

[Raw Story] Speaking in Iowa last week, Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Ginrgrich said, “Really poor children, in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works so they have no habit of showing up on Monday,” he insisted. “They have no habit of staying all day, they have no habit of I do this and you give me cash, unless it is illegal.”

Gingrich also made similar comments about the Occupy Wall Street participants. There is nothing Gingrich will not say to pander to an increasingly hostile Republican base if it means enriching himself.
