Former Lawyers Found Guilty in Tax Shelter Fraud

[Reuters ]Two former lawyers were found guilty by a New York jury for hatching a conspiracy to fraudulently obtain referral fees using a tax shelter with the acronym HOMER, U.S. prosecutors said on Thursday.

The office of the Manhattan U.S. Attorney said in a statement that Chicago lawyer and accountant John Ohle, 42, and Louisiana lawyer William Bradley, 46, each face a maximum of five years in prison and fines when they are sentenced in September.
