D.C. Councilmember Pleads Guilty To Theft
D.C. Councilmember Harry Thomas Jr. pled guilty on Dec.5 to stealing over $350,000 in taxpayer funds and filing bogus tax returns.
[AP] Thomas, a 51-year-old Democrat, was charged Thursday in a criminal information following plea discussions between his attorneys and federal prosecutors.
