Bank of America To Cut 30,000 Jobs
[PostBulletin] Bank of America Corp. announced plans recently to cut 30,000 jobs worldwide, as part of an effort to streamline it's overseas operations and cope with billions of dollars in losses from toxic mortgages and the continuing weak economy.
Never mind that the bank recently reported a convenient loss for the second straight year that allowed it to avoid paying federal income taxes. Never mind that their tax shenanigans netted the compnay a $1 billion tax refund.
"Restructuring" is corporate America's favorite word for screwing everyone but the investors. Profits are all that matter.
