$35,000 Panda Poop Tea
China - A former calligraphy teacher turned entrepreneur has found the missing link for producing the world's most expensive and nutritious tea.
[AFP] The former calligraphy teacher has purchased 11 tonnes of excrement from a panda breeding centre to fertilise a tea crop in the mountains of Sichuan province in southwestern China, home to the black and white bears.
18 ounces of Pando (poop) Tea will cost $35,000.
Price aside, the man behind the venture is passionate about his product and we have to give him credit for his efforts to raise awareness about Pandas as well as the hazards of using industrial fertilizers for commercial crops.
